Gild is versioned according to the following scheme: there are three digits maj.min.fix; where maj denotes a major release, min denotes a minor release with some new features or feature enhancements, and fix denotes bug fixes and minor enhancements. When fix is odd, the version is to be considered an "research" or "beta" release. Even numbers for fix denote a stable release.

August/5/2005

This version of Gild is intended for use with Eclipse version 3.0.2 and Java SDK version 1.4.* or 1.5.*.  This fixes any bugs found in the previous release (Version 2.1.0)  Please note that the marking view is not included in the student release.

Gild Tour Package

The Gild Tour PDF document provides an overview of the different features available in the Gild Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

The Gild Tour zip file is a package of sample code that accompanies the gild tour.  After Gild is installed on your system, go to File -> Import and select "Import Gild Archived Project", click Next, then select GildTour.zip as the archived project to import.
